1.SESF Introduction
SESF is a non-profit non-governmental registered community based organization established in June 4, 1997 in Khandbari by the residents of Khandbari area with active help of a peace corpse volunteer Mrs. Alyssa Nyberg, to address illiteracy within their own community. The Foundations goals is to provide a quality education to talented yet financially poor students of the Sankhuwasabha Alyssa Nyberg highlighting about the objectives of SESF District. Priority is given to girls. 
2. Scholarship Program
1. Scholarship Program from SESF General fund: Their parents are unable to send their children to school due to very low income rates. The children have engaged in difficult manual labor in agriculture SESF has designed a child sponsorship program with the vision that small contribution of money and supplies can benefit and even change the lives of many poor and needy children of their community. Till now SESF has linked 30 poorest children to sponsor from different countries. SESF has been supporting 10 students for studying grade 11 from late William J. Scholarship program. Till now more than 100 poorest children have already benefited from the SESF general.
2. Individual sponsorship program: SESF has designed the child sponsorship program with the idea and hope that small contribution of money and supplies can benefit and even change the lives of many poor and needy children and their community.SESF invites application from poorest children at the beginning of the academic year. SESF Working committee meets and selects the needy (Poorest but most talent) children for the recommendation of the sponsorship. Priority is given to girls. SESF works with local community leaders in the selection process. SESF secretary stays in the close contact and communication with the children and their parents of their education.30 poorest children have been sponsored by different foreign individuals form different countries like USA, The Netherlands, Egypt, Sweden Norway etc. to go to school. Their all school expenditures have been covering by their sponsors.
3. Eco-tourism project: For more than 50 years Sankhuwasabah has been one of the attractive place for there tourists. About 2000 tourists from different countries have been visiting the tourist every year. Since there is lack of information among world people the about the natural cultural and historical diversities of Sankhuwasabah, we are going to design and publish a www.sankhuwasabah.com website we can inform all about our natural cultural and biological diversities and attract more and more tourists in the area.

4. Orphanage program: SESF also has decided to support Khandbari Orphanage from since last year. In this connection we have included the information of the orphanage in our website.
