Beautiful picture Khandbari Pokhari Bazaar . A beautiful park has been developed recently. Khandbari is the headquarter of Sankhuwasabha district. It is on the way to Mt.; Makalu Base Camp. Every year about 500 tourists come to visit Khandbari. They enjoy trekking up Makalu Base camp.

Khandbari municipality is one of the  municipalities of Nepal  with te fewest population in comparision to   other municipalities.
