Lohorung Rai
"Lohorung" is one the castes of "Rai". The caste is foundliving in the Diding , Matsya Pokhari, Yaphu, Barabise, Sittalpati and Khandbari municipality in Sankhuwasabha District. The Lohorungsare short, strong, having flat nose. They dress as other castes like Brahmin and Kshetries. They drink local alcohol. They are slow aggressive by nature.They celebrate their own festival. Lohoung Rais are verystrong and fearless in the war.They have have shown
their capacityin the second world war. So the lohorung youths are liked to employ in the British and and the Indian armies.

Shingsaba Bhotiya
They have been living in the northern belt of Sankhuwasana district. They have covered three VDC Hatiya, Chepuwa and Kimmathanka VDC They follow their own their special culture and traditions.They follow Buddhist religion. They speak their own Lhomi Language. According to the census of 2001 of Nepal the total population of Shigsabah is 5329.
